Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA)

Alpha Hydroxy Acid, aka AHA, helps to exfoliate skin surface and promotes even skin texture & tone. Additionally, it has anti-aging and moisturizing benefits. Due to its exfoliating properties, it helps with skin renewal and helps to brighten the skin tone. Mandelic, Glycolic, Lactic, Tartaric and Malic Acids are all types of AHA, may be choosen according to the skins needs.

In order to be effective, AHA concentration should be higher than 4% in formulas within a formulation Ph level of 3-4. AHAs can be obtained from botanical or animal sources, as well as synthetic versions are widely used in cosmetics industry.

We use botanical sourced AHA blend (Lactic, Glycolic, Mandelic, Citric, Malic & Tartaric Acid) in our formulas with a ph range of 3.7 to be effective and gentle on skin.
